MJ Backhouse is committed to delivering the highest level of health and safety in all Yorkshire pest control work undertaken.

All MJB’s pest technicians complete a comprehensive training course and all our staff are professionally qualified in all types of pest control methods.

Our operators are trained in the safe use of Rodenticides and Insecticides in accordance with DEFRA and HSE Codes of Practice and Standards.

In addition MJ Backhouse adhere to the following health and safety schemes:

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
A dedicated scheme where members complete a health and safety pre-qualification assessment to a nationally recognised and accepted standard

Safe Contractor
SAFE Contractor is a health and safety assessment scheme that is recognised all over the UK. The scheme has been designed to take the hassles out of health and safety by managing your list of approved contractors more efficiently and cost effectively.

We constantly review our health and safety policies to ensure that we meet industry and statutory regulations at all levels and at all times, both on site and in our offices.
